GIS & Geodata Specialist (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF90,000 - 119,000Role:
A customer-oriented specialist is sought for the implementation and support of sophisticated GIS solutions. The focus is on the introduction and further development of GIS software in the field of official surveying and utility cadastre, the technical project implementation, and the support of users.
Responsibilities:
Implementation of customer projects for the introduction and operation of GIS software
Execution of installations, data migrations, and configuration of interfaces
Implementation of map visualisations and other GIS components
Recording and documentation of requirements for software development
Testing new software versions as part of quality assurance
Support of customers during project execution
Assistance to users via the support hotline
Conducting seminars, workshops, and webinars
Qualifications:
Education and practical experience in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
Experience in customer contact as well as communicative and proactive personality
Confident handling of INTERLIS data models, check services, and data conversion
Knowledge of documentation processes in official surveying and/or utility cadastre
Careful, reliable, and goal-oriented working style
Analytical, structured, and conceptual thinking
Quick comprehension of complex technical issues and solid IT understanding
Fluent German skills in spoken and written form
