MAIN ACTIVITY OF THE POSITION
You ensure the complete and anticipatory management of operating theatre equipment to guarantee smooth interventions, equipment availability at all times and seamless coordination between the theatre, sterilisation, logistics, suppliers and doctors.
MAIN TASKS
- Manage ancillaries, implants and loaned instruments (round trips, deadlines)
- Check the necessary equipment before each intervention (logging and loan) and prepare the associated documents
- Update nomenclatures to reduce preparation or billing errors
- Control the dispatcher and ensure correct billing
- Order equipment according to the surgeon’s request, monitor stocks and anticipate shortages
- Scan and record documents (TTO, consumption, STER) to ensure traceability
- Be the "single point of contact" for all questions related to operating theatre equipment
- Collaborate closely with logistics, STER, doctors and theatre teams
REQUIRED TRAINING
- Experience as an orthopaedic instrument technician in an operating theatre is mandatory.
- Comfortable with IT tools (D3, DPi, Excel or equivalent).
- Good knowledge of SAP is a plus
- Methodical, rigorous, reliable, with excellent anticipation skills.
- Ability to work in a team to implement improvement solutions
- Good communicator, appreciated for your collaboration and sense of service
