In this role, as an IT DevOps Engineer, you shape the interface between development and operations and ensure stable, scalable, and automated IT services. You are responsible for building, further developing, and operating CI/CD pipelines as well as continuously optimising the toolchains used. You conceive and implement infrastructure and deployment solutions and ensure smooth operation through monitoring and incident management. Additionally, you contribute your experience to standardise processes, consider security and compliance requirements, and drive automation throughout the entire lifecycle. Through your analytical and structured working style, you significantly contribute to sustainably increasing the quality, availability, and efficiency of the IT landscape.
Responsibilities:
You develop, implement, and manage robust, scalable network and DevOps infrastructures
In this role, you automate recurring tasks with tools such as Puppet and Ansible, thereby increasing the efficiency of IT processes
As a DevOps Engineer, you continuously monitor system performance and ensure smooth operation
You further develop the virtualisation environment based on Apache CloudStack, automate processes, and ensure stable operation
In this role, you identify and analyse disruptions, fault conditions, and application performance issues and develop appropriate solutions
Qualifications:
- You have a degree or comparable qualification in computer science and several years of practical experience in the development and operation of network and DevOps infrastructures
- You possess in-depth knowledge of Linux, networking, and IT security (e.g. Debian, Ubuntu, Juniper, Fortinet) as well as monitoring, orchestration, and automation tools such as Zabbix, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins
- You have experience with virtualisation technologies such as Proxmox, Apache CloudStack, and VMware and are interested in container runtime platforms
- You are characterised by strong analytical thinking and can independently analyse and resolve complex disruptions and fault conditions
- You work proactively, solution-oriented, independently, and responsibly and value teamwork
- You have a networked way of thinking as well as good German and English skills and communicate clearly and appropriately for the audience
