IT System and Network Administrator (m/f/d)
Our client is a Swiss industrial company focused on the production of technical products and components. Reliable material supply and efficient procurement processes form an important basis for production operations.
Responsibilities:
Cross-site support of the IT system landscape of Pfiffner Schaltgeräte AG in Hirschthal, Sissach and Grenchen as well as HAVECO AG, including ensuring stable daily operations.
Handling technical faults and user requests in 1st and 2nd level support as the central IT interface for the affiliated companies.
Responsibility for the sustainable operability of the infrastructure through regular system maintenance, technical documentation and continuous optimisation.
Coordination of operational IT activities with the system administrator of Pfiffner Messwandler AG at the Hirschthal site, especially regarding deputising and capacity balancing.
Qualifications:
Solid professional experience in administration of Windows server and client infrastructures as well as in technical user support at 1st and 2nd level.
Confident handling of Microsoft 365, Active Directory / Entra ID and central network components or services such as LAN, WLAN, DNS, DHCP and VPN. Familiarity with basic IT security requirements.
Practical knowledge in the use of backup systems and ticketing solutions as well as in coordinating and managing external IT service providers.
Completed IT vocational training or equivalent practical qualification, preferably supplemented by further training in system technology or network technology.
Strong independence, methodical approach and solution-oriented action with a confident sense of priorities. Clear communication is expected, fluent written and spoken German, English at least at B2 level, as well as a category B driving licence and willingness to work regularly at different locations.
