Incoming Inspection Operator

To strengthen our teams, we are looking for a qualified and experienced person as:

Fixed-term contract of approximately 9 months – maternity leave cover
At the end of the replacement period, a possible opportunity in production may be considered depending on the company’s needs. The person could then also take on a backup role in incoming inspection.

Your mission:

You ensure the inspection of received components and sub-assemblies to guarantee their compliance with defined requirements before they are made available for production.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

• Inspect components and compare the results obtained with the specified requirements to verify their conformity
• Apply defined criteria and tolerances and alert in case of deviation or non-conformity
• Perform incoming inspections of subcontracted sub-assemblies, especially those delivered to customers without additional operations
• Identify and record supplier non-conformities in the "Quality Event Tracking" file
• Inform the relevant persons of the availability of inspected conforming parts to enable their transfer from the receiving warehouse to the production warehouse
• Participate in departmental improvement projects

Your profile:

• You have initial experience in an industrial, production, or logistics environment
• You have good knowledge of measuring tools and metrology principles
• You are proficient in French, both spoken and written, with a minimum B2 level
• You are comfortable with MS Office tools; experience with an ERP (SAP or equivalent) is an asset
• You are comfortable with adhering to procedures, control criteria, and defined tolerances
• You are rigorous, autonomous, organised, versatile, and enjoy teamwork
