Do you want to commit yourself to gender equality, at the crossroads between administration, the public sphere and the political world? Your tasks
- Initiate, design and lead projects aimed at promoting gender equality
- Shape and develop the "Entreprise Égalité" and
- Support the Office in implementing its projects in the two linguistic regions of the canton of Bern
- Handle cases from political circles, administration and the general public
- Participate in the work of various bodies and working groups
Your profile
- You hold a master’s degree, preferably in humanities, social or political sciences.
- You have several years of professional and project management experience.
- You have proven specialised knowledge in the field of equality.
- You are bilingual (French-German or French as your mother tongue with excellent German skills, level C2).
- Ideally, you have already taken your first steps in the field of administration.

The Office for Gender Equality (BEFH), attached to the State Chancellery, promotes de facto equality in all areas of life and is committed to eliminating gender-based discrimination. It supports the canton in implementing equality, initiates measures and projects, and provides advisory services to the public. The State Chancellery is a versatile service provider at the interface between politics, administration and the public. As the staff office of the Executive Council, it ensures liaison with the Grand Council. In this capacity, it plans, supports and coordinates the activities of these authorities and provides numerous services to the administration and the public.
