Specialist in Finance and Accounting (m/f/d)

In this role, you take on a central function in finance and accounting and support the head of finance and accounting as a deputy in professional and operational tasks. You bear responsibility in a versatile area of tasks and can actively shape the future of the finance department. Responsibilities:
- As a finance and accounting specialist, you are responsible for asset accounting
- You prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- In this role, you prepare VAT returns for Switzerland and Germany
- You are responsible for creditor processes in the ERP and invoice processing system
- As a finance and accounting specialist, you manage financial applications and ensure correct data integration between systems
- In this role, you actively contribute to the optimisation of financial processes, the further development of the internal control system, and digitalisation projects
Qualifications:
- You have a commercial basic education with further training in finance and accounting (e.g., finance and accounting specialist certificate or comparable qualification)
- You have several years of professional experience in finance and accounting
- You are confident in financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations and familiar with VAT
- You work independently, reliably, and in a structured manner and have an affinity for ERP systems and digital processes
- You demonstrate high team spirit and enjoy collaborating with various departments
- You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written; good French and English skills are an advantage
