Our client is a traditional, future-oriented and regionally anchored Swiss utility and infrastructure company. As a modern SME, the company ensures sustainable basic supply in the region with future-oriented services in the areas of energy, water, heat and networks.

For this dynamic environment, we are looking for a strong leadership and entrepreneurial personality as Head of Finance and Services.

Your Impact

You will take on a central key role in an organisation on the rise. In this role, you combine entrepreneurial foresight with operational implementation strength. Together with your team, you shape the further development of structures, processes and services and ensure that the financial, personnel and administrative foundations are future-proof. In an environment strongly influenced by the energy transition, digitalisation and sustainability, you will have a great scope for design with the opportunity to sustainably help shape the company’s realignment.

Your Tasks

• Department Management: You independently lead and develop the newly formed Finance and Services department with budget, results and quality responsibility.

• Support Functions: You ensure essential corporate functions and are responsible, among other things, for IT/OT, data protection, human resources, process and quality management, real estate, risk management, insurance, contract management and general administration.

• Strategic Participation: You actively contribute to the corporate strategy and implement resolutions from management and the board of directors professionally and on time.

• Project Management: You lead demanding, cross-departmental projects and drive the continuous optimisation of internal structures and processes.

• Education: A successfully completed business administration further education (FH, HF, university or professional certificate/diploma) specialising in finance, controlling or accounting – or a comparable qualification with solid practical experience.

• Leadership Competence: Several years of proven leadership experience as well as the ability to cooperatively, purposefully and integratively challenge and promote employees.

• Technology Affinity: Strong interest in digitalisation, data analysis and AI-supported processes combined with confident handling of modern systems.

• Personality: Analytical thinking, implementation strength and enjoyment of a generalist role at the interface between strategy and operational excellence.

• A demanding key position with strategic and entrepreneurial co-responsibility.

• Short decision-making paths, flat hierarchies and a long-term perspective in a crisis-proof, regionally anchored company.

• Direct and close collaboration with management, board of directors and relevant internal and external stakeholders.

• Active participation in the further development and realignment of a modern Swiss utility company.
