IT Workplace Engineer - Cloud & Collaboration (m/f/d)

Role:
In the role as a Cloud Infrastructure Modern Workplace specialist, you actively shape modern workplace environments and develop future-proof cloud solutions. In this role, you take responsibility for planning, building, and operating secure and high-performance private cloud infrastructures for the modern workplace. You are responsible for the continuous optimisation of existing environments, identify improvement potentials, and implement appropriate technical measures. You work closely with various stakeholders, coordinate requirements, and ensure smooth integration into existing system landscapes. Through your expertise in cloud technologies and modern workplace concepts, you contribute significantly to providing stable, efficient, and user-oriented solutions.
Responsibilities:
You continuously support and develop modern workplace solutions in the area of private cloud VDI and multicloud
Together with customer requirements, you develop product standards and support the technical project managers in IT projects
You technically implement demanding private and multicloud customer projects and take over the 3rd level support
In complex faults, you conduct targeted error analysis of the system architectures
Qualifications:
You have an IT education or further training or bring comparable professional experience
Experience with Citrix, Horizon, virtualisation technologies, and Veeam Backup is an advantage
You are very familiar with Windows servers, Windows clients, Active Directory, and group policies
Your knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Entra, Defender) as well as multicloud environments rounds off your profile
You have very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills
