A secure digital infrastructure is today a crucial component of modern organisations. In this responsible role, you work at the interface between security operations, technical analysis, and continuous improvement. You will have the opportunity to actively contribute to securing a complex IT landscape and to further develop modern security approaches.
As a Cyber Security Engineer, you monitor the security situation, analyse anomalies, and coordinate the handling of security incidents. At the same time, you support various IT projects with security-related issues and contribute to the further development of protection mechanisms and security standards.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring the IT security situation and analysing suspicious activities and potential threats
Investigation, assessment, and coordination of the handling of security incidents
Evaluation of existing security measures and identification of optimisation potentials
Support of IT and digitalisation projects with technical security questions
Development and maintenance of security guidelines, technical requirements, and corresponding documentation
Collaboration in the further development of security processes and information security management
Qualifications:
Higher education in computer science, cyber security, business informatics, or a comparable technical field
Several years of professional experience in IT security, security operations, or incident response
CISSP certification or a comparable recognised security qualification
Sound knowledge in the areas of cyber threats, security monitoring, incident management, and IT protection measures
Additional certifications such as CCSP, Azure Security, or CEH are advantageous
Very good German skills as well as good English skills for understanding technical documentation
