Planning, building, and migration of modern VMware platforms including independent implementation of technical solutions.
Analysis of customer requirements, development of suitable solution designs, and professional support of demanding VMware projects.
Technical support for the sales and pre-sales organisation in tenders, concepts, and realistic effort estimates.
Maintenance and optimisation of virtualisation environments as well as further development of existing cloud infrastructures.
Active participation in shaping the strategic area of hybrid cloud and development of new infrastructure-as-a-service solutions.
Qualifications:
Several years of professional experience as a system engineer or solution architect with a focus on VMware and at least 3 years of experience in comparable tasks.
Solid practical knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation with vSphere, vSAN, Aria Suite, SDDC Manager, and NSX.
Broad understanding of related IT infrastructure technologies such as storage, servers, networking, and backup.
Ideally, you hold relevant VMware certifications and have an interest in current virtualisation and cloud technologies.
Very good German skills, good English skills, strong customer orientation, independent working style, and a high willingness for professional development.
