About the job
Police Lavaux is an association of six municipalities in the Lavaux-Oron district, namely Bourg-en-Lavaux, Chexbres, Lutry, Puidoux, Rivaz and Saint-Saphorin, whose main mission is to ensure the protection of people and property in the area by providing a local police service.
Within its Administrative Police Division, the Administrative and Reception Unit (UAA) is the first point of contact for the public, traders and partners: reception at the Police Headquarters, commercial police authorisations, chancellery, management of the port and cemetery of Lutry.
Police Lavaux is currently reorganising this unit to optimise task distribution and improve public service. In this context, it is recruiting:
A Commercial Police Secretary (50 to 60%)
A Chancellery Secretary (60% to 70%)
Commercial Police - General Duties
- Ensure the administrative management of commercial police
- Handle simple authorisation requests
- Invoice taxes and fees
- Substitute for the commercial police inspector for urgent tasks and occasionally support them in the field for establishment and event inspections
Chancellery - General Duties
- Manage the chancellery (handling correspondence, reports and writings of Police Lavaux and requisitions from various partner services)
- Manage all archives
- Collaborate on reception tasks at the Police Headquarters
Desired Profiles
- Commercial employee CFC or equivalent qualification
- Commercial professional maturity desired
- Knowledge of public administration (several years of experience in a similar role within a municipal administration), an asset
- Sense of public service
- Good interpersonal skills
- Discretion, reliability, efficiency and accuracy
- Ability to work independently, methodically and organised
- Very good knowledge of French, ease in writing
- Proficiency in common IT tools required
