Lead Solution Architect

Your Tasks

• Assuming the role of Lead Architect for a newly developed software solution
• Definition and further development of the solution architecture considering professional, technical and customer-related requirements
• Technical responsibility for the further development of the development organisation and collaboration with other architects
• Development of architectural guidelines, technical standards and quality directives for agile development processes
• Support of product management in the development and further advancement of the business architecture
• Coordination and supervision of technical improvements and ensuring their implementation
• Support of development teams with complex technical issues and in the implementation of solutions
• Creation of rough concepts for the technical implementation of business requirements in the overall system
• Support in the creation of technical concepts and offers
• Close collaboration with business analysis, software development, product management and customers
• Questioning existing structures and continuous further development of IT and software architecture
• Shaping the technical direction of a new product in an early development phase

Our Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Senior Software Architect or Solution Architect, ideally with professional leadership responsibility
• Solid experience in designing and further developing complex software solutions
• Very good knowledge of Java, Kafka and REST
• Experience with Angular or a comparable modern frontend framework
• Ideally experience with DevOps and modern agile development processes
• Ability to communicate technical contexts clearly and bring together different stakeholders
• High initiative, strong communication skills and enthusiasm for professional and technical development
• Team-oriented personality with a strong desire to shape
• University or university of applied sciences degree in computer science or a comparable education with relevant professional experience
• Very good German skills at least at C1 level as well as good English skills
