Role:
Modern IT is created in the cloud today, and you want to be involved from the start. As a Junior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you gradually migrate existing infrastructures to Azure and Microsoft 365. In doing so, you gain practical experience in platform operation, identity, and endpoint management. A supportive environment accompanies you and gives you room for your own ideas. Your responsibility grows with every project.
Responsibilities:
You set up user roles, groups, and access rights in Microsoft Entra ID and implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) as well as conditional access.
You simplify recurring processes in cloud and administration with scripts in PowerShell.
You assist with migrating local systems to the cloud and configure services in Microsoft 365 (M365).
Additionally, you manage notebooks, smartphones, and tablets via Intune.
You provision Azure resources automatically with Bicep and operate central platform services.
Furthermore, you investigate causes of disruptions, advance security policies, and improve existing documentation.
Qualifications:
You have already gained some practical experience with Azure or M365, ideally at least one year.
You write your first own scripts and may have already tried infrastructure as code (IaC).
Authorization concepts such as RBAC as well as basics of identity and cloud security are familiar to you.
Moreover, you understand how networks work, from subnetting to firewalling to VPN. Experience with Fortinet or similar solutions is a plus.
You express yourself clearly and precisely in German and are comfortable in English, both spoken and written.
Additionally, you approach new things with curiosity, ask questions when something is unclear, and want to develop specifically in security and automation.
