Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you contribute with your expertise in finance and accounting to structuring and making the financial management of demanding infrastructure and construction projects transparent. You are responsible for the precise booking and analysis of business processes and ensure that numbers and facts are reliably available at all times. In doing so, you question existing processes, analyse matters thoroughly and develop optimisation proposals for more efficient financial processes. You bring in your experience to prepare complex contexts understandably and support fact-based decisions as a competent contact person. Through your curious and solution-oriented working style, you make an important contribution to the continuous development of finance and accounting.
Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the complete and independent financial, accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting of all companies.
- You prepare and check VAT returns and ensure their timely submission.
- You professionally prepare annual financial statements and documents for audits.
- In this role, you administer and maintain the ERP systems and ensure their data quality.
- You record price lists, maintain master data in SAP and ELO and ensure their currency.
- As a finance and accounting specialist, you support project managers and take on versatile administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- You have a commercial basic education as well as completed further training in fiduciary or finance & accounting.
- You have several years of practical experience in finance and accounting.
- You are familiar with intercompany reconciliations and can carry them out independently and reliably.
- You are proficient in MS Office and common ERP systems.
- You are characterised by a structured, efficient and independent working style with interconnected thinking.
- You have a quick grasp and a strong affinity for numbers.
