Civil Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced specialist for the planning and construction management of civil engineering and infrastructure projects. You will handle diverse projects in areas such as structural engineering, road and urban water management, river engineering and GEP and take responsibility for their smooth execution. In addition to technical project work, interdisciplinary coordination and consulting of clients are part of your responsibilities. With appropriate experience and development, the position offers prospects for taking on a deputy or leading role in the specialist department.
Responsibilities:
Independent planning and management of civil engineering and infrastructure projects across various project phases
Handling projects in structural engineering, civil engineering, road construction and urban water management
Planning and design of utility lines, drainage systems and municipal infrastructure
Participation in projects in river and hydraulic engineering as well as in hydraulic engineering tasks
Processing and further development of general drainage plans (GEP) and associated measures
Taking over construction management including quality, schedule and cost control during implementation
Responsibility for structured order processing, project organisation and project controlling
Preparation of tenders, tender documents, cost estimates and technical documentation
Interdisciplinary coordination with geotechnics, structural planning, environmental planning and other specialist areas
Technical consulting of municipalities, public clients and private builders
Ensuring planning and execution in accordance with relevant SIA standards, VSS standards and technical guidelines
With appropriate development, taking on technical leadership and departmental responsibility
Qualifications:
Completed studies as a Civil Engineer FH/ETH or comparable higher education
Professional experience in at least one of the areas civil engineering, structural engineering, road construction, urban water management, river engineering or GEP
Experience in planning and/or construction management of infrastructure projects
Sound knowledge of relevant SIA and VSS standards as well as Swiss planning and approval procedures
Knowledge in tendering, cost planning and project controlling
Very good German language skills spoken and written
Driving licence category B
