Role:
You want devices to simply work, securely and without manual readjustment? This is exactly where this position comes in. As a Digital Workplace Engineer, you actively shape the Windows and mobile platform in a Microsoft 365 (M365) environment technically. You combine endpoint management, security, and identity into a coherent whole. You consistently automate recurring processes, creating space for genuine development.
Responsibilities:
You administer Intune for Windows, Android, and iOS devices and specifically expand device configurations, compliance policies, and security settings.
You control feature and quality updates via update rings and keep the client landscape up to date with a well-thought-out patch management.
Additionally, you automate workplace processes with PowerShell, for example during technical onboarding and offboarding including licence and rights assignment.
You investigate issues related to enrolment, deployments, and policies in 3rd and 2nd level support and sustainably resolve their causes.
Furthermore, you support OneDrive, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams and continuously develop these services.
You also drive migrations, changes, and lifecycle projects forward and define technical standards as well as operational concepts.
Qualifications:
You have at least 3 years of practical experience in client, endpoint, or workplace engineering.
You are confident in modern endpoint management with Intune, as well as MAM, MDM, and device enrolment.
You are very familiar with Windows 11 and Windows 10, and M365 services are also your familiar terrain.
Software packaging, automated deployments, and client provisioning with Windows Autopilot are part of your toolkit.
Furthermore, you have experience with Windows Update for Business and understand how endpoint security solutions interact with Windows and Intune.
You work solution-oriented and structured, communicate fluently in German, and can easily handle English technical documentation.
