As the highest judicial authority of the Canton of Vaud, the Cantonal Court assumes the dual role of judicial authority and management of the Vaud judicial order. It is composed of 45 cantonal judges and substitute judges, elected for the duration of the legislature, as well as a registry serving its various courts.
The Cantonal Court, which employs nearly 200 magistrates and collaborators, is looking for an administrative sector manager attached to the registry management of the Cantonal Court.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the leadership and supervision of the heads of chancery of the Cantonal Court Registry.
- Assist the office management, notably the chief clerk, the deputy chief clerk and the executive clerk in the daily management of their administrative tasks, and actively participate in the management and development of the office administration.
- Take responsibility for the executive secretariat and coordinate its activities.
- Supervise the administrative management of personnel and ensure the recruitment process of administrative collaborators.
- Coordinate the training of apprentices and act as a company trainer (FE).
- Contribute to the optimisation of processes and the development of the office organisation.

Qualifications
- Commercial employee CFC or equivalent qualification
- HR manager certificate
- Federal diploma as executive assistant
- Company trainer training (CFFE)
- Experience in project management and team management
- Three years of professional experience in a similar role
- Public service orientation and stress resistance
- Excellent writing skills and spelling
- Excellent command of common IT tools, speed, rigour, precision and discretion
As part of the recruitment process, candidates will be required to present an extract from the debt collection register and a criminal record less than 3 months old.
