Your area of activity includes:
- Design, implementation, and documentation of modern communication networks
- Creation of network and security concepts
- Configuration and commissioning of network components (Fortinet, Cisco, Arista)
- Support and further development of existing customer infrastructures
- Support of project management in the pre-sales area
- Analysis and resolution of complex network problems
- Several years of experience with TCP/IP, routing & switching, IPsec and firewalls
- Sound knowledge of Fortinet (FortiGate/FortiManager) and/or Cisco/Arista
- Further training in routing & switching (e.g. Cisco CCNA/CCNP or Fortinet NSE4/5)
- Experience with IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform) or IAM systems (e.g. Okta) is an advantage
- Analytical, solution-oriented and independent working style
- Fluent German skills (C2) as well as very good English skills (B2)
- Driving licence category B

Responsibilities
In this exciting role, you are responsible for the design, implementation, and support of network and security infrastructures in demanding industrial environments.Your area of activity includes:
- Design, implementation, and documentation of modern communication networks
- Creation of network and security concepts
- Configuration and commissioning of network components (Fortinet, Cisco, Arista)
- Support and further development of existing customer infrastructures
- Support of project management in the pre-sales area
- Analysis and resolution of complex network problems
Profile
- Completed IT training as an IT specialist EFZ system technology including IT further education (HF/FH)- Several years of experience with TCP/IP, routing & switching, IPsec and firewalls
- Sound knowledge of Fortinet (FortiGate/FortiManager) and/or Cisco/Arista
- Further training in routing & switching (e.g. Cisco CCNA/CCNP or Fortinet NSE4/5)
- Experience with IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform) or IAM systems (e.g. Okta) is an advantage
