Cyber Security Specialist - Technical Security & Architecture
Do you want to actively shape cyber security rather than just stick to existing processes? Here you can further develop technical security solutions, establish new protection mechanisms, and strengthen collaboration between engineering, operations, and governance. Your contribution helps create a resilient security foundation that keeps pace with new threats and growing regulatory requirements. We are looking for a person who takes responsibility, acts pragmatically, and wants to advance technical security in the long term.
Responsibilities:
Detect and repel threats
You drive the technical development of SIEM and XDR solutions and strengthen the capabilities for detecting and assessing threats.
You bring your experience in vulnerability management and incident response to effectively address vulnerabilities and security incidents.
You collaborate with security operations and improve the interfaces between technical development and operational security management.
Embed security technically
You establish and improve technical protective measures that reliably secure critical systems and infrastructures.
You further develop security architectures, engineering guidelines, and technical standards, orienting yourself on best practices such as OWASP.
You ensure that security controls and protection mechanisms are implemented consistently and operated sustainably.
Translate standards into practice
You support the expansion of the ISMS and help to anchor technical and organisational security measures in a comprehensible manner.
You accompany customers, internal teams, and audits on technical security issues and assist in drafting concrete requirements.
You contribute to policies, requirement catalogues, and governance guidelines and help translate these into practical technical solutions.
You network with system engineering and operations to ensure security requirements function reliably in everyday life.
Qualifications:
Expertise and experience
You have completed training in computer science, cyber security, or information security or hold a comparable qualification.
You have already worked in security engineering, security operations, or information security.
You are familiar with SIEM, XDR, vulnerability management, and incident response.
You understand common security standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls or the ICT minimum standard.
Working style and communication
You work analytically and independently and take responsibility for your topics.
You can communicate technical security issues clearly and enjoy collaborating with different departments.
You communicate very well in German and well in English.
You are a doer, think solution-oriented, and are eager to actively help expand cyber security.
