About the job
Mission Context
Within the Industrial Systems Administrators team, on the infrastructure side, you work on the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure components that support industrial equipment (manufacturing, laboratory, stock, control, logistics).
You act as the interface between the industrial business teams and the IT infrastructure teams: you translate business needs into technical specifications, you coordinate the implementation by the infrastructure teams, you validate deliverables, and then you ensure the administration and maintenance of the components dedicated to the industrial scope in production within the factories.
Main Missions
Analysis and Design
* Analyse the IT infrastructure needs on which the industrial equipment to be implemented relies: system layers, middleware, database, virtualisation, storage, network, backup, cybersecurity rules.
* Understand the needs and requirements expressed by the business and propose suitable solutions.
* Write technical specifications for the infrastructure teams.
Implementation and Validation
* Verify the deliverables provided by the infrastructure teams (permissions, flows, servers, networks, storage...).
* Present the chosen solutions to business stakeholders and IT management.
* Write and keep up to date the technical documentation of the solutions in production.
Administration and Maintenance of Industrial Components
* Administer the system layers (Windows servers, application services) dedicated to the industrial scope: configuration, hardening, backup, patching, version upgrades, migrations.
* Administer middleware components (application servers, integration services, message queues) supporting industrial equipment.
* Administer the virtualisation, network, and storage portion of the industrial scope: VMs dedicated to factories, VLANs and industrial flows, associated volumes and arrays.
* Resolve level 2 incidents on solutions in production.
* Perform simple scripting (automation of recurring tasks, operations).
Management and Reporting
* Produce reports on the state of the infrastructure: data collection from monitoring repositories (Splunk, Dynatrace) and formatting according to needs (HTML/CSS reports, dashboards).
