Cybersecurity Engineer - Threats, Exposure and Risks (m/f/d)

On behalf of our client based in Geneva, we are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer - Threats, Exposure and Risks (m/f/d) responsible for strengthening the operational security of the information system by structuring the analysis of cyber threats, the assessment of exposures and the prioritisation of associated risks.

Your mission

• Organise and structure cybersecurity monitoring by ensuring the collection, qualification, enrichment and analysis of information related to emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Identify relevant threats to the information system, analyse attack techniques, active campaigns and indicators of compromise (IoC), then determine potentially exposed assets and technologies.
• Assess and prioritise cyber risks by cross-referencing vulnerability data (CVSS, EPSS, KEV), technical exposure, asset criticality and existing protection measures.
• Define and coordinate remediation actions with the relevant teams: patch application, mitigation, hardening, blocking, SOC rule adaptation, enhanced monitoring and Threat Hunting.
• Ensure follow-up on the effective risk reduction until closure, verify the absence of compromise and produce indicators, summaries and recommendations adapted to different decision-making levels.

• University Master’s degree in computer science, EPF engineering diploma or equivalent training, with proven experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, vulnerability management, Exposure Management or cyber risk analysis, and demonstrated ability to articulate these different disciplines.
• Mastery of Threat Intelligence concepts and tools, threat qualification and attack techniques (MITRE ATT&CK, TTP, IoC), with the ability to link vulnerabilities, affected products, threats, exposed assets and appropriate protection measures.
• Expertise in evaluating and prioritising vulnerabilities and cyber risks, notably through CVSS, EPSS and KEV frameworks, with demonstrated ability to cross-reference threat information, technical exposure, asset criticality and existing controls to define concrete and prioritised actions.
• Very good knowledge of asset management principles, IT system mapping and cyber exposure management, with the ability to exploit inventories, CMDB, vulnerability scanners and other data sources; good understanding of SOC environments, EDR solutions and detection and Threat Hunting activities.
• Excellent analytical, synthesis and communication skills, combined with great rigour, technical curiosity and ability to work under pressure and make decisions based on incomplete or uncertain information; knowledge of scripting (PowerShell) and SPL query language are assets.
