Senior Datacenter Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
You are looking for a new challenge as a Senior Datacenter Engineer where you can apply your skills and experience. In this role, you take responsibility for the planning, operation, and optimisation of datacenter systems. You are responsible for the security, efficiency, and reliability of the systems to ensure smooth operation. With your comprehensive knowledge and top-level experience, you make strategic decisions and develop innovative solutions. You are an important part of the team and contribute to the further development of the datacenter infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
You take technical responsibility for defined platforms, services, and customers as a Technical Account Manager
In this role, you ensure the stable and secure operation of our datacenter platform and managed services
As a Senior Datacenter Engineer, you standardise services, operational processes, and recurring tasks
You further develop our datacenter platform, including new services, blueprints, and self-service offerings
In this role, you take on the case owner role for complex customer issues, changes, incidents, and service requests
As a Senior System Engineer Datacenter, you support customer and migration projects as well as documentation, knowledge transfer, and active sharing of know-how within the team
Qualifications:
You have several years of experience operating server virtualisation technologies, especially with VMware vSphere
You have solid knowledge of backup technologies such as Veeam
You possess in-depth knowledge of network technologies such as Fortinet, Citrix Netscaler, and HPE/Aruba
You enjoy new technologies and are correspondingly enthusiastic
You have several years of experience in 2nd and 3rd level support
You have a high quality awareness and promote innovation
You are fluent in German
