As a Cyber Security Engineer, you take technical responsibility for the security of a heterogeneous IT and OT infrastructure. Identifying vulnerabilities, prioritising measures, and further developing security systems are part of your daily routine. You navigate confidently between on-premises environments and cloud services and contribute technical expertise to projects. Responsibilities:
You establish and operate a structured vulnerability management process including scans, assessment, prioritisation, and follow-up of measures
You plan and implement hardening and security measures for servers and clients in IT and OT
You operate and further develop security systems such as SIEM, XDR, and PAM, including configuration maintenance and coordination of external service providers
You assist in handling IT security incidents and support incident response
Additionally, you support the design, setup, and operation of server and platform services such as virtualisation platforms and Azure services
You lead or accompany security projects and implement regulatory requirements in the field of information security technically
Qualifications:
You have a degree in computer science or a related field
You bring training or professional experience in the security environment
You have experience in security and system engineering as well as working with cloud environments and projects
You are familiar with products such as vSphere, Microsoft 365 (M365)/Azure, and Microsoft Defender
You have solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and related services such as AD, DNS, DHCP, and GPO
Furthermore, you convince with a structured, independent working style and high customer orientation
