About the job
Company Description
The Genolier Clinic is part of Swiss Medical Network, a network comprising nearly 25 hospitals and more than 70 health centres in Switzerland.
The Nuclear Medicine Department of the Genolier Clinic is recognised as an ISFM postgraduate training centre of category B, for a maximum duration of two years. It offers a position for an assistant physician or deputy head of clinic.
The centre is located in the Genolier Innovation Hub building, in the heart of the Genolier campus, in close proximity to the radio-oncology and radiology services. It is one of two European centres of excellence of GE HealthCare in molecular imaging and theranostics, as well as one of the founding members of the international network of GE HealthCare innovation centres.
The centre actively collaborates with several Swiss and regional hospital institutions, notably the University Hospitals of Geneva, the Cantonal Hospital of Lucerne, the hospitals of Nyon and Morges, the Alpes Léman Hospital Centre and the Léon Bérard Centre in Lyon.
It develops an active research programme in the fields of advanced imaging, artificial intelligence and clinical trials. It also hosts students from polytechnic schools as well as experienced researchers.
The first commercial unit of the OMNI 128 cm total-body PET, the world’s first commercial upgrade of the StarGuide to the GX Dual-Sided configuration, as well as a theranostics unit with radiation protection rooms will be operational in the coming months.
The centre offers a full range of diagnostic examinations for adult patients, notably in oncology, PET cardiology and neurology. It also performs all conventional nuclear medicine examinations, as well as complete multimodal imaging protocols including diagnostic CT.
You will join a team composed of five senior physicians, two of whom have university affiliations: one with the University Hospitals of Geneva and the other as head of the theranostics unit at the Léon Bérard Centre in Lyon.
You will also be supervised by specialists holding dual FMH titles, notably in nuclear medicine and radiology or in nuclear medicine and cardiology.
