Do you want to take responsibility, lead a committed team and ensure that everything runs smoothly in textile management? At the University Psychiatric Centre Bern (UPZ), a varied and responsible leadership role awaits you in an important area of clinical operations. In textile management, you and your team ensure professional, efficient and hygienically impeccable processing of laundry. In doing so, you combine leadership, organisation and quality awareness with your enjoyment of working with different people.

Your tasks

• You take on the professional and personnel responsibility for the textile management area and lead the employees assigned to you
• Together with your team, you ensure a smooth and efficient process of textile processing
• You implement the hygiene concept and carry out regular quality checks (if deviations occur, you initiate appropriate measures)
• You plan the deployment of your employees and ensure a needs-based organisation of workflows
• You promote team building and team development, lead team meetings and conduct training for your employees
• You accompany employees in sheltered workplaces and support them in their professional development
• You maintain contact with internal and external customers and ensure a high level of service quality
• You contribute to the further development of textile management and identify potential for optimising processes and structures
• You take on administrative tasks and ensure reliable documentation and organisation within your area of responsibility

Your profile

• You have completed training in the field of housekeeping as well as further training as a hotel-housekeeping area manager FA or an equivalent qualification
• You bring several years of professional and leadership experience, ideally in textile management or in a large laundry and preferably in healthcare
• You enjoy leading, promoting employees and shaping a good team culture together with them
• You work in a structured manner, plan ahead and keep an overview even in demanding situations
• You have a strong quality and hygiene awareness as well as a flair for organisation, operational processes and administration
• You enjoy contact with different people and present yourself in a customer-oriented, socially competent and resilient manner
• Accompanying and supporting employees in sheltered workplaces is a rewarding task for you
• You have good IT user skills and command the German language confidently in spoken and written form
