Role:
Good software is created where someone consistently keeps quality in view. As a Test Manager, you take on exactly this responsibility and manage all test activities from planning to acceptance. In doing so, you bring departments, development, and operations together. With your structured approach, you ensure that releases go live stably and on time.
Responsibilities:
You develop test strategies and test concepts and coordinate them with project management and departments
You are responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring system, integration, and acceptance tests
You drive test automation forward and integrate tests into Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
Furthermore, you manage test cases and defects in Jira and prioritise defects together with the development teams
You lead and coach testers from internal and external teams
Additionally, you create meaningful test reports and provide clear recommendations for go-live decisions
Qualifications:
A degree in computer science or a comparable qualification forms your foundation
You have at least 3 years of experience in test management of larger IT projects
A certification according to ISTQB (Advanced Level is an advantage) rounds off your profile
You are familiar with automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright as well as agile methods like Scrum
Furthermore, you convince through analytical thinking, assertiveness, and solution-oriented communication
You are also confident in German and manage well in English-speaking meetings
