CRM Assistant - External Asset Managers Desk (Private Bank, Geneva)
Client:
Finders is recruiting, on behalf of our client, a long-established private bank, a CRM Assistant to support the External Asset Managers (EAM) Desk. Based in Geneva, this opportunity sits within a busy, small but growing team and could suit either a junior or a more experienced professional. As an integral member of the Client Relationship Managers' team, the CRM Assistant will handle a mix of operational, administrative, and compliance tasks to help deliver a seamless client experience. This is a full-time, office-based role, with the option of one day of home office per week. The position offers long-term career development in a collegial and supportive environment, with the potential to evolve as the team continues to grow.
Position:
- Provide daily support to Client Relationship Managers in commercial and administrative matters
- Handle account openings, closures, and related documentation
- Manage retrocessions and commission processes
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements (FATCA, AML, MiFID, etc.)
- Prepare and follow up on client meetings and events
- Respond to client inquiries via phone and email
- Execute, monitor, and control client instructions (payments, securities trading, static data changes, etc.)
- Monitor credit lines and investment maturities
- Oversee day-to-day administrative issues
Profile:
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Finance, Business) or completed banking apprenticeship
- Practical experience in private banking, wealth management or a retail banking operations team
- Strong user skills in Microsoft Office; familiarity with core banking platforms (Apsys or equivalent) is a plus
- Comfortable managing a largely administrative caseload, typical of an EAM desk environment
- Solid numerical and analytical abilities with a methodical, detail-oriented approach
- Excellent communication skills and proven experience working with relationship-focused stakeholders
- High professional standards, integrity and accountability
- Fluency in French and English; German a plus but not a must
- Already based in the Geneva area and holding a valid work permit (frontaliers accepted)
