Together with our client, an established and modern company in the Basel metropolitan area, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a Payroll Specialist 80-100% for a fixed-term assignment of five months. Due to various holiday absences, you will strengthen the existing HR and payroll team and ensure smooth payroll processing with your expertise. In this role, you take on an important hub function within the company and competently support employees with all payroll-related questions. The workplace is located in the Basel metropolitan area and is easily accessible by car and public transport.

Your area of responsibility with the new employer

• You ensure the timely and correct execution of the monthly payroll processing for employees
• You competently and service-orientedly handle inquiries from employees and managers on payroll-related topics
• You maintain personnel and payroll data in the system and ensure high data quality
• The handling of entries, exits, and changes also falls within your area of responsibility
• You support social security and withholding tax accounting and work closely with internal and external contacts
• During holiday absences, you ensure the continuity of payroll processes and actively contribute to daily business
