Chief Accountant - 80-100% - Valais - Permanent Contract

Founded in 2001, Fed Finance is a recruitment agency specialising in accounting and finance professions.

For one of our clients, a Swiss SME of human scale based in Valais, we are looking for a Chief Accountant.

Reporting directly to General Management, you take responsibility for all accounting and financial activities of the company.

Your main responsibilities:

-Supervise general, subsidiary and analytical accounting.
-Carry out monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
-Produce financial reports and performance analyses.
-Manage cash flow, taxation and relationships with external partners.
-Prepare budgets, forecasts and monitor financial indicators.
-Optimise accounting processes and support improvement projects.
-Be a true partner to Management on financial and organisational matters.

We are looking for a person with:

-Federal diploma in Finance & Accounting or equivalent training.
-Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, with experience in an SME.
-Excellent knowledge of Swiss accounting, taxation and reporting.
-Fluent French; English is an asset.
-Leadership, autonomy and a pragmatic approach.
-Reliable, collaborative and solution-oriented personality.
