Role:

On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the independent project management in building automation. You will accompany demanding automation projects from technical planning through PLC programming and commissioning to handover to the customer. In doing so, you coordinate the interfaces with electrical and building technology and consider requirements regarding operational safety, energy efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The role combines project management with practical automation, network, and control technology.

Responsibilities:

• Independent leadership and realisation of building automation projects from planning to handover

• Technical project planning and development of customer-specific automation and control solutions

• Creation and implementation of PLC programmes, preferably in the Beckhoff environment

• Execution of commissioning, functional tests, and system optimisations on site

• Parameterisation and optimisation of control loops and building technology systems

• Integration and coordination of HVAC, electrical, and automation systems

• Configuration and testing of network, communication, and automation interfaces

• Project control considering deadlines, costs, quality, and technical requirements

• Collaboration and assumption of technical responsibility in interdisciplinary project teams

• Conducting fault analyses, system tests, and optimisations during the commissioning phase

• Creation and maintenance of system documentation, functional descriptions, and commissioning protocols

• Instruction and technical consulting of customers during handover and operation of the systems

Qualifications:

• Completed basic training as automation technician EFZ, electrical installer EFZ, building informatics technician EFZ or comparable technical education

• Further education at HF/FH level in automation, electrical engineering, or building technology is an advantage

• Solid knowledge in PLC programming, ideally with Beckhoff

• Good knowledge of control, network, and communication technology

• Experience in planning, project management, and execution of building automation projects

• Knowledge of the interfaces between building automation, HVAC, and electrical engineering

• Very good German language skills spoken and written
