THE FOUNDATION FOR SOCIOCULTURAL ANIMATION OF LAUSANNE (FASL) is a private foundation of public utility subsidised by the city of Lausanne. In partnership with neighbourhood associations, FASL manages 17 sociocultural animation venues and employs more than 90 collaborators.
As part of strengthening our Human Resources department, we are looking for an experienced and meticulous person to join our General Secretariat team.
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, you will ensure the operational and administrative management of the employee lifecycle as well as the preparation, execution and control of the payroll process. You will thus play a central role at the interface between Human Resources, finance, the teams of the various venues and our external partners.
HR Manager – Payroll Specialist at 80%
Main responsibilities
Ensure the preparation, processing and control of the monthly payroll: salary variables, hours, allowances, supplements, benefits, entries, exits, transfers, retroactive payments and corrections.
Control social deductions, family allowances and withholding tax and participate in the double-checking of payroll.
Manage social insurances and monitor AVS/AI/APG/AC, LPP, LAA, family allowances and sickness loss of earnings files.
Ensure the administrative follow-up of work incapacities, paid leave and daily allowances.
Manage personnel administration throughout the lifecycle: contracts, amendments, hirings, transfers, certificates, exits and maintenance of individual files.
Monitor working time data, holidays, overtime and absences.
Provide first-level HR support to employees and managers on administrative, salary and social insurance matters.
Participate in internal controls, HR–Finance reconciliations and preparation of data required for audits.
Contribute to HR reporting and monitoring of indicators related notably to headcount, payroll, absenteeism and staff movements.
Actively participate in the improvement, digitalisation and automation of HR and payroll processes.
Profile
Commercial employee CFC or equivalent training.
HRSE Personnel Management Assistant certificate.
HRSE Payroll Specialist certificate.
Proven experience in human resources administration in Switzerland.
Practical and autonomous experience in managing a monthly payroll process.
Excellent knowledge of Swiss payroll and very good knowledge of Swiss social insurances.
Good command of Excel and ease with payroll software and HR information systems.
Knowledge of Winbiz and a time management system is an asset.
You are also accustomed to managing several deadlines simultaneously and handling a large volume of data. Experience gained within a multi-site organisation, a foundation, a public authority or a semi-public institution is an advantage.

Organised and with a good analytical mind, you know how to identify inconsistencies, manage priorities and meet demanding deadlines. Your sense of service, your ability to clearly explain sometimes complex topics and your interpersonal skills enable you to collaborate effectively with a variety of interlocutors.
