Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the planning management of demanding building projects in the GC/TC environment. You take overall responsibility for the strategic and operational control of planning and lead interdisciplinary teams from architecture, engineering and specialist planning through all relevant project phases. The focus is on the consistent management of deadlines, costs, quality and planning capacities as well as the coordination of complex interfaces between clients, planning participants and executing partners. In doing so, you combine sound architectural and planning knowledge with GC/TC contract expertise, BIM-based planning methods and professional planning management.
Responsibilities:
Development and specification of the project and planning strategy for demanding building projects
Overall responsibility for the timely, financial and qualitative control of planning
Leadership and coordination of interdisciplinary planning teams consisting of architects, engineers, specialist planners and specialists
Definition and monitoring of planning processes, milestones, responsibilities and delivery dates
Management of the procurement and awarding process for planning services including coordination of the corresponding contractual bases
Ensuring compliance with GC/TC contracts, planner contracts and agreed scopes of service
Quality assurance of planner contracts, project documentation and planning bases up to the TC work contract
Continuous monitoring of planning progress and early detection of schedule, cost and quality deviations
Development and implementation of appropriate corrective, escalation and optimisation measures
Technical support of the overall project team in troubleshooting complex planning-related issues
Management of resource and capacity planning of internal and external planning teams throughout the project phases
Coordination and quality assurance of BIM and model-based planning processes as well as digital collaboration methods
Qualifications:
Completed studies as Architect FH/University/ETH, graduation from a higher technical school or comparable construction-technical qualification
Several years of professional experience in planning management and leadership of interdisciplinary planning teams, ideally in the GC/TC environment
Sound knowledge of Swiss building standards, SIA service models as well as GC/TC and planner contract systems
Experience in strategic project management, resource and capacity planning as well as in managing complex planning processes
Good knowledge of BIM, model-based planning, CAD systems and cloud-based collaboration platforms
Experience with timber construction projects or hybrid structural and construction systems is an advantage
Very good German language skills spoken and written
