You want to delve deeper into technology and manage real systems in productive environments? As a Junior Modern Workplace Engineer, you work daily with servers, clients, and networks at various customers. The focus is on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 as well as classic on-premises infrastructures. Every new environment brings you fresh technical challenges. This way, your knowledge grows with every project.
Responsibilities:
You operate and monitor Windows server systems and take care of updates, resources, and availability.
You provision clients, configure policies, and deploy software via Microsoft Intune.
In first and second level support incidents, you systematically narrow down and resolve errors.
Furthermore, you manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in hybrid directory services with Entra ID.
You automate recurring tasks with PowerShell scripts.
Additionally, you maintain network plans, configurations, and operational processes in clear documentation.
Qualifications:
You have completed basic training as an IT specialist EFZ or hold an equivalent qualification.
You have practical knowledge of client/server architectures in the Microsoft environment, especially Windows Server and Active Directory (AD).
Routing, switching, and WLAN configuration are not foreign terms to you.
You have initial experience with cloud services and virtualisation, ideally with VMware or Hyper-V.
You tackle problems analytically, coordinate reliably with colleagues, and explain technology understandably.
You are also confident communicating with customers in German, both verbally and in writing.
