Are you looking for a challenge where you can apply your skills as a network and security expert? In this role, you take responsibility for the smooth operation of IT applications in a data centre and at customers. You are the contact person for customers when it comes to IT, especially networks and security. You have the opportunity to contribute your skills in a skilled team and act as a strong team player. You make a difference by ensuring that IT applications function flawlessly and employees can work without disruption.
Responsibilities:
You design and implement secure customer infrastructures with a focus on network and cybersecurity.
You manage demanding technology projects from technical planning to successful acceptance.
You maintain existing connectivity environments and ensure their reliable operation.
You analyse new technologies, deepen your expertise and further develop modern security solutions.
You actively share your know-how within the team while also utilising the experience of your colleagues.
Qualifications:
You have completed ICT training with professional experience or are pursuing a part-time computer science degree.
You master switching, routing and WLAN at CCNA/CCNP level or equivalent and are very familiar with HPE Aruba.
You have solid firewall experience, ideally with Fortinet FortiGate and corresponding certifications.
You are familiar with topics such as proxying, NAC, 802.1X, RADIUS, PKI as well as certificate management and are interested in IT security.
You work in a structured and independent manner, present yourself confidently to customers and keep a clear head even under time pressure.
