Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Project Manager Heating / Cooling for an established Swiss building technology company specialising in heating systems, cooling technology and energy-efficient building systems. You will independently plan, organise and realise medium to large heating and cooling projects from tendering to successful commissioning. The focus is on technical and economic project management, coordination of specialist planners and executing companies, as well as ensuring costs, deadlines and quality. The position combines modern building technology, sustainable energy solutions and practical project management with flexible working models and long-term development opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Independent management and realisation of heating and cooling projects of medium to large complexity from project preparation to handover
Technical and economic project responsibility including cost planning, schedule monitoring, quality control and ongoing project controlling
Organisation and coordination of project execution with internal planning teams, installation managers, specialist planners and external project partners
Preparation and calculation of tenders for heating and cooling systems including technical solution variants and economic feasibility considerations
Participation in the planning and dimensioning of heating and cooling systems considering energy efficiency, operational safety and project-specific requirements
Technical coordination of heat generation and cooling systems including heat pumps, heat distribution, hydraulic systems and cooling supply
Support in supplier purchasing and material procurement including offer comparisons, technical clarifications and delivery date monitoring
Work preparation and resource planning to ensure efficient installation processes and timely project realisation
Coordination and alignment with clients, architects and specialist planners as well as participation in project and construction meetings
Monitoring of technical execution and installation quality considering relevant SIA standards, safety regulations and project-specific quality standards
Accompanying commissioning, functional tests and system acceptance including defect management and technical project documentation
Creation and maintenance of project-related documents including cost overviews, change orders, schedules and final accounts
Qualifications:
Completed training as a building services planner heating EFZ or equivalent recognised training in heating and cooling technology
Further education as a technician HF building technology or engineer FH building technology is an advantage
Several years of professional experience in heating and cooling technology as well as independent management or coordination of building technology projects
Sound expertise in planning and realising heating and cooling systems, especially heat generation, heat distribution and hydraulic systems
Experience in project management and project calculation including tendering, supplier coordination, cost control and scheduling
Knowledge of Swiss building technology standards and guidelines, especially relevant SIA standards as well as energy and safety requirements
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as confident use of digital planning and project management tools
