Head of Human Resources (m/f/d) - 80 to 100%

Our client is a traditional, internationally successful Swiss technology and industrial company in the Bern metropolitan area. As part of a renowned corporate group, the company combines innovative spirit with a down-to-earth culture. For the central HR department, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for an initiative-taking, future-oriented leader with a workload of 80-100%.

Your main tasks:

• Professional and personnel management of the HR team (span of control approx. 5 HR generalists)

• Overall responsibility for payroll, social insurances, year-end processes and audits

• Management of work and cross-border commuter permits

• Sparring partner for management and executives in strategic as well as labour law matters

• Control of the entire employee lifecycle (recruiting to offboarding)

• Preparation of all personnel-related documents and contracts

• Management of group-wide HR digitalisation and transformation projects

• Further development of the modern, employee-oriented corporate culture

Your profile:

• Federal HR specialist certificate or equivalent further training

• Several years of experience in a comparable HR generalist or leadership role

• Sound knowledge of Swiss labour, social insurance and collective labour agreement law

• Confident payroll expertise and high IT system affinity

• Initial leadership experience or strong potential for team management

• Winning, level-appropriate manner with a strong service mindset

• Business fluent German; French or English skills are an advantage
