Your responsibilities:

• Independent analysis of starting materials for GMP syntheses as well as peptide- and oligonucleotide-based active ingredients
• Evaluation, interpretation, and GMP-compliant documentation of analytical data
• Application of spectroscopic methods for quantification, characterisation, and stability testing of samples
• Development, optimisation, and implementation of analytical methods
• Critical assessment and plausibility checks of analytical results
• Conducting routine analyses in compliance with GMP guidelines
• Independent handling of project tasks and maintenance of analytical instruments
• Ensuring smooth measurement services and coordination of analysis orders
• Preparation of development reports, SOPs, and analytical instructions
• Active support in analysis and development projects as well as continuous improvement of the working environment and processes

Your profile:

• Completed degree or doctorate in chemistry, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, or a comparable field
• Experience in the analytical investigation of peptides, proteins, oligonucleotides, or related biomolecules
• Solid knowledge of NMR spectroscopy for the analysis and characterisation of biomolecules
• Ideally additional expertise in other spectroscopic, biophysical, or analytical methods
• Initial professional or project experience in pharmaceutical analytics, biophysical characterisation, or method development is advantageous
• Experience in a GMP-regulated environment and handling quality-relevant processes is desirable
• Practical knowledge of techniques such as SEC-MALS, DLS, ThT assay, CD, SEM, or rheometry is beneficial
• Experience in evaluating analytical data and using relevant specialised software
• Structured, quality-conscious, and independent working style combined with analytical thinking and enjoyment of complex issues
• Open, communicative, and team-oriented personality with an interest in interdisciplinary collaboration and active shaping of a growing field
