Platform Reliability Engineer (m/f/d)

The application covers the entire administrative process: from the tax register through assessments and invoicing to debt collection and loss certificate management. Role:
SaaS platforms must run – even when no one is watching. That’s your responsibility. You build cloud-native environments based on modern container technologies and support customers during onboarding. You systematically reduce recurring work through automation. With monitoring and observability, you make the state of the systems visible at all times. Security and recoverability are considered from the outset.
Responsibilities:
You build cloud-native environments with Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux and take on the technical onboarding of new customers
You ensure the secure, high-performance operation of the SaaS platforms and continuously improve it
You engage in DevSecOps topics, support IAM solutions, WAFs as well as automated security checks and penetration tests
You build incident management processes as well as backup, restore, and disaster recovery concepts with the team
Additionally, you work closely with interdisciplinary teams, document solutions, and actively share your knowledge
Qualifications:
You have a higher education degree in computer science at FH/HF/university level or a comparable background; cloud-native certifications are a plus
You bring experience as an SRE, DevOps, or system engineer in operating modern cloud environments
You work confidently with Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, and CI/CD tools
Ideally, you are familiar with databases, monitoring and logging solutions, as well as infrastructure as code
You are familiar with ITIL and SLI/SLO concepts in service operation
You are passionate about technology, strong in communication, and take initiative independently
