About the job
Your Tasks:
- Posting and reconciling daily bank transactions in various currencies
- Processing and reconciling incoming payments from different payment systems
- Responsibility for accounts receivable management, including account reconciliations and clarification of open items
- Active receivables management and execution of dunning procedures
- Communication with customers, sales and internal departments regarding payment discrepancies and outstanding receivables
- Handling foreign currency issues and intercompany settlements
- Assistance with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as preparatory and follow-up work
- Deputising in the accounts payable area and supporting the financial accounting of a manufacturing company
- Participation in the optimisation of financial processes and gradual assumption of further tasks, for example in the VAT area
- Further education with a Swiss federal diploma in finance and accounting or a comparable qualification
- At least five years of professional experience in financial accounting, ideally with broad experience in financial accounting
- Solid practical experience in accounts receivable and receivables management
- Experience with foreign currencies and intercompany settlements
- Initial experience with monthly and annual closing tasks
- Experience in a group or internationally oriented company
- Confident handling of ERP and accounting systems as well as good Excel and MS Office skills
- Very good German and good English skills; French skills are an advantage
