What you will achieve
- You manage your own operations in all accounting matters, act as their professional contact and are responsible for the independent, reliable and timely preparation of monthly financial statements in the general ledger.
- You establish the accounting structures of new operations, support them during the start-up phase and coordinate the accounting and administrative tasks during closures.
- As a sparring partner, you support the operations with accounting questions, analyse complex issues and develop suitable solutions together with those involved.
- You ensure proper posting of business transactions, question existing processes and actively contribute to process optimisations and projects.
- You work closely with various internal departments, support the Accounting Operations management in daily business and take on professional deputy duties when required.
What you bring with you
- You have completed further training as an accounting clerk and have several years of professional experience in accounting.
- You have experience in the accounting of a medium or large company.
- You have good SAP knowledge as well as experience with common accounting tools, work independently and are well organised.
- You think and act entrepreneurially and cost-consciously, question existing processes and proactively address discrepancies.
- You speak fluent German and are happy to respond to French-speaking enquiries as well.
