Day after day, within Célébration Food Service, we prepare lunch meals for nurseries, UAPE, and companies in Echallens and the surrounding villages. Our gourmet catering activity is also enjoying growing success with businesses, associations, and private individuals throughout French-speaking Switzerland.

Therefore, to complete our team, we are looking for a immediate start or at an agreed date, a

sous-chef de cuisine

(permanent contract at 100%)

The position involves ensuring the production, regeneration, and hot delivery of approximately 500 meals per day to our communities. You will carry out these tasks with great autonomy, according to the general directives of the chef, ensuring control of quantities, meal quality, temperature compliance, and departure times.

Additionally, you may also be involved in our catering activities: production, setup, and presence at certain events, with the possibility of managing a small team, particularly during cocktail receptions, corporate meals, weddings, or other services.

Profile sought:

• Fluency in spoken and written French.
• Professional cooking certificate (CFC), solid kitchen experience, and excellent references.
• Passionate about cooking and loving the profession.
• Highly autonomous and reliable, quick, organised, and rigorous.
• Capable of independently managing large volumes and deadlines.
• Category B driving licence (car).

Working conditions and benefits:

• Workplace: Echallens, then Etagnières from spring 2027.
• Hours: start at 6:30 am – continuous hours, generally Monday to Friday - occasionally catering services in the evening or at weekends by agreement.
• Holidays: 4 weeks in summer and 2 weeks at Christmas / New Year (annual closures).
