Role:
You don’t just want to manage devices but shape the platform behind them. This is exactly where this position comes in. As a Senior Client & Mobile Engineer, you shape the architecture of client, mobile, and workplace within an environment based on Microsoft 365 (M365). Automation is not an add-on for you but a fundamental principle. With your expertise, you define how modern device operation works technically.
Responsibilities:
You develop the architecture of Microsoft Intune and the strategy for endpoint management purposefully.
You design zero-touch provisioning with Windows Autopilot as well as standardised processes for configuration and lifecycle of devices.
You establish security standards for Windows and mobile clients and anchor them in the platform through compliance policies and endpoint security policies.
Additionally, you automate software distribution, onboarding, offboarding, and licensing processes with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph.
For Windows clients, you design release and patch strategies and technically manage rollouts and migrations.
Furthermore, you analyse persistent issues down to the root cause, test new technologies in proofs of concept, and update operational concepts.
Qualifications:
You have at least 5 years of practical experience in client, endpoint, or modern workplace engineering.
You know Intune in depth, from MDM and MAM through configuration profiles to packaging and application deployment.
You work confidently with Autopilot, Windows 10/11, update rings, feature updates, and patch management.
Moreover, you automate proficiently with PowerShell and ideally have already implemented API-based solutions via Graph.
You understand security baselines and device compliance in conjunction with identity, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
Additionally, you work in a structured and solution-oriented manner, actively contribute your knowledge to the team, and are equally confident in German and English.
