What to expect

• Driving the continuous improvement process
• Supporting the operations manager in process engineering matters in close cooperation with research and development, application technology and quality control
• Transferring new products and processes from the laboratory stage to the pilot and production phase
• Participating in the evaluation and commissioning of new plants and plant modifications
• Deputising for the operations manager in all matters of operations management

What you bring

• A degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering or chemical engineering ETH/ Uni/ FH
• Initial experience in the chemical industry, preferably in plastics production
• Knowledge of project management is an advantage
• Independent, responsible and structured working style as well as strong communication skills
• Good English skills and willingness to perform on-call duty
