Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced specialist for project management and specialist planning of sanitary installations in demanding medium to large-scale building projects. You will take overall responsibility for the sanitary technical planning process across all SIA phases and lead an interdisciplinary integrated specialist planning team from conception to realisation. The focus is on integral building services planning, BIM-supported project execution with Revit and AutoCAD, as well as the development of resource-efficient and sustainable sanitary concepts. The position offers the opportunity to help shape complex construction projects in an internationally oriented planning environment and to develop innovative solutions for future-proof buildings.
Responsibilities:
Independent project management of sanitary engineering for demanding new construction, renovation and large-scale projects in residential, commercial, industrial and public building construction
Overall responsibility for sanitary planning according to SIA phases from concept development and preliminary design through tendering and execution planning to realisation
Technical leadership and coordination of the sanitary planning team including task distribution, resource planning, quality assurance and promotion of junior planners
Integral building services planning with close coordination of sanitary engineering with architecture, structural engineering, heating, ventilation, electrical engineering and construction management
BIM-supported specialist planning with Revit and AutoCAD including digital building modelling, coordination of technical interfaces and model-based plan checking
Design and dimensioning of sanitary installations including drinking water supply, hot water preparation, wastewater and rainwater drainage as well as sanitary technical installations
Development of sustainable sanitary and water concepts with optimisation of water consumption, energy efficiency, material use and resource conservation
Preparation of technical calculations and planning documents including pipe sizing, pressure loss calculations, system schematics and installation plans
Tendering and awarding management with preparation of specifications, technical specifications, cost estimates and offer comparisons
Site supervision and execution coordination with monitoring of technical implementation, inspection of installation work and support during commissioning and acceptance
Client consulting and project communication representing sanitary planning vis-à-vis clients, authorities, contractors and external specialist planners
Cost, schedule and quality management with project controlling, monitoring of planning milestones and ensuring technical and economic project goals
Qualifications:
Completed technical training or degree in building services engineering, for example as a building services planner EFZ Sanitary with HF further education, building services engineer FH or with a federal professional certificate
Several years of professional experience in sanitary planning and site supervision of medium to large-scale building projects across all relevant planning and execution phases
Sound expertise in sanitary and supply technology, especially drinking water installations, hot water preparation, building drainage and hydraulic dimensioning
In-depth knowledge of Swiss SIA standards and SVGW guidelines, especially SIA 385, SIA 190 and SVGW W3, as well as relevant technical and hygienic requirements
Experience in BIM-supported building services planning as well as good user knowledge of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD or comparable CAD and BIM applications
Proven experience in leading specialist planning teams, integral project coordination and technical implementation of sustainable building concepts
Good to very good German language skills in spoken and written form, English skills advantageous for collaboration in international project teams
