Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a qualified professional for architectural planning and technical project processing of diverse new build, conversion and renovation projects in a modern architectural environment. You will accompany varied construction projects from single-family homes to apartment buildings and commercial buildings and take responsibility from building permit planning to detailed working and execution planning. The focus is on CAD planning with ArchiCAD, constructive detail development, creation of precise planning documents as well as independent technical clarifications with authorities and contractors. The position offers diverse regional building projects, a collegial working environment and the opportunity to develop professionally and increasingly take on independent planning tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Independent CAD planning with ArchiCAD for demanding new build, conversion and renovation projects in residential and commercial construction

• Project processing according to SIA phases with a focus on building permit, working and execution planning

• Creation of building permit plans including floor plans, sections, elevations, site plans and approval-relevant documents

• Working and execution planning with development of precise architectural plans for the construction implementation of building projects

• Constructive detail planning with development of component connections, façade details, building envelopes and technically feasible construction solutions

• Digital building modelling with ArchiCAD including creation, editing and updating of 2D plans and 3D architectural models

• Independent clarifications with building authorities regarding building regulations, approval procedures and project-specific requirements

• Technical coordination with contractors including clarification of execution details, material connections and constructive issues

• Coordination with interdisciplinary specialist planners, especially in the areas of structural engineering, building services and building physics

• Review and quality assurance of planning documents with control of scale accuracy, completeness, plan statuses and technical details

• Support of project management in the preparation of construction specifications, technical documentation and tender documents

• Plan and documentation management with structured administration of CAD files, plan revisions, project documents and presentation documents

Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training as a draughtsperson EFZ specialising in architecture with sound knowledge of Swiss building planning

• Experience in building permit, working and detail planning, ideally in residential and commercial projects

• Very good user knowledge of ArchiCAD, especially in 2D plan processing and 3D building modelling

• Confident use of Microsoft Word and Excel; additional knowledge of Adobe InDesign for project presentations and documentation is an advantage

• Good knowledge of building construction, materialisation and technical execution details as well as understanding of the practical implementation of architectural projects

• Knowledge of the Swiss SIA planning phases and building law basics as well as experience in coordination with authorities, specialist planners and contractors is an advantage

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical clarifications, project documentation and communication with project participants
