Role:
A modern workplace today is created in the cloud rather than in the server room. As a Senior Microsoft 365 Specialist, you take technical responsibility for the entire workplace, client, and mobile platform in the Microsoft 365 (M365) environment. Your architectural decisions and standards are felt by many users daily. Those who dive deep into Microsoft Intune and love complex interrelations will find real scope for design here.
Responsibilities:
You design the endpoint management strategy and technically develop the architecture of device management further.
For enrolment and provisioning, you design automated processes and advance zero-touch concepts with Windows Autopilot.
Furthermore, you define configuration profiles, security baselines, and compliance policies, thereby hardening Windows and mobile devices.
You manage packaging, deployment, and update strategies for Windows clients and ensure controlled releases.
In addition, you automate administrative processes such as onboarding, permissions, and licence allocation using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph.
You also lead migrations and rollouts, resolve complex incidents with thorough root cause analyses, and test innovations in proof of concepts.
Qualifications:
Many years of experience in endpoint or modern workplace engineering form your foundation.
You know Intune inside out, including MDM, MAM, device enrolment, and endpoint security.
You are equally proficient with Windows 10/11, Windows Update for Business, and patch management as well as Autopilot and automated software distribution.
You write clean PowerShell code effortlessly, and experience with Graph APIs is a clear plus.
Additionally, you have solid knowledge of Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive as well as the dependencies between identity, security, and Microsoft 365.
You approach problems analytically, document comprehensibly, and write fluently in German, while English comes easily to you in professional exchanges.
