In this role, you will take on a responsible and varied position with high quality requirements in a growing, international environment. Responsibilities:
- You take over the ongoing financial accounting of assigned companies including general and subsidiary ledgers, asset accounting, provisions and accruals
- In this role, you prepare monthly, quarterly, half-year and annual financial statements and perform account reconciliations and plausibility checks
- As a (Junior) Finance Manager, you manage operational accounting processes such as accounts payable and receivable, payment transactions, banks, cash, expense reports and dunning
- You prepare and process VAT returns and support other tax and finance-related reports
- In this role, you prepare documents for audits and tax inspections and work closely with auditors, tax consultants and other external partners
- As a (Junior) Finance Manager, you ensure the quality, completeness and traceability of financial data and contribute to compliance with legal requirements, internal guidelines and relevant accounting standards
Qualifications:
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship with further training in finance and accounting or a comparable qualification; a higher professional education in finance, accounting or business administration is an advantage.
- You have several years of professional experience in finance and accounting, especially in financial accounting as well as in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- You bring a solid understanding of financial accounting, closing processes and relevant accounting principles; experience in an international environment is an advantage.
- You convince with a strong analytical and numerical understanding as well as a structured, precise and reliable working style with a high quality awareness.
- You are very proficient in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel, and have good SAP user knowledge or experience with a comparable ERP system.
- You are characterised by a proactive, solution-oriented and team-oriented personality with good communication skills as well as very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
