System Engineer - Microsoft & Infrastructure (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
Operate, maintain, optimise and continuously develop Windows and Linux infrastructures
Plan, implement and configure on-premises and cloud infrastructures based on Microsoft 365 and Azure
Migrate existing systems and services - from conception through technical implementation to successful go-live
Plan and execute IT projects and subprojects independently or in cross-functional teams
Analyse complex issues in 2nd and 3rd level support, resolve them sustainably and document technical changes comprehensibly
Qualifications:
Solid practical experience with Windows Server and Windows Client as well as ideally Linux
Experience with virtualisation and platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V and Proxmox
Very good knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Exchange (on-premises & cloud)
Good knowledge of network and security technologies, especially firewall, WLAN, routing, switching, VPN, WAF, ZTNA, SASE/SSE as well as cloud networking and high availability architectures
Basic to good understanding of IT security, especially EDR/XDR/MDR, vulnerability & patch management, email security, encryption, backup/DR/BCM, security assessments and awareness
