Our partner is an international company active in the sale and distribution of products for several European markets. To strengthen its Finance team, it is currently looking for a 60-70% Accountant who will be involved in month-end closings, international operations, financial reporting, as well as accounting activities related to multiple currencies.

Your tasks with your new employer

• You actively participate in monthly closings, prepare financial reports, and ensure the reliability of accounting data in a demanding international environment
• You manage intra-group operations, accounting reconciliations, and transactions carried out in different currencies in collaboration with several European contacts
• You prepare VAT declarations in Switzerland and internationally, handle payroll, and contribute to the smooth running of various accounting deadlines
• You communicate daily in English with banks, IT teams, and various group partners to ensure the smooth flow of financial operations
• You work in a role paced by closing periods and appreciate both accounting analyses and recurring tasks essential to the proper functioning of the Finance department

You offer your new employer

• You hold a commercial apprenticeship certificate (CFC) supplemented by a specialisation in accounting or an equivalent qualification and have solid experience in accounting
• You have several years of experience in a similar role and are comfortable with monthly closings, financial reporting, reconciliations, and international operations
• You are fluent in French and have a good level of English, both spoken and written, to communicate daily with international contacts
• You are proficient with common IT tools, especially Excel, and ideally have experience with an accounting ERP and reporting tools
• You are recognised for your autonomy, rigour, sense of priorities, and flexibility, particularly during accounting closing periods
